Jasamarga: Bali Mandara Toll Arrangement Completed on Time to Welcome the G20 Presidency


PT Jasamarga Bali Tol noted that currently the progress of structuring the Bali Mandara Toll Road has reached 90 percent. This toll road will be used to welcome the implementation of the G20 Presidency in November 2022. President Director of PT JBT, I Ketut Adiputra Karang said, with this achievement, he is optimistic that this work can be completed on time in the second week of July.

This completion includes a number of additional works, including tidying up three toll gates (Nusa Dua, Benoa and Ngurah Rai) to installing ornaments on Public Street Lighting Poles (PJU) on toll roads. In addition, 549 units of PJU pole ornament installation work is currently being done," he said in a written statement, Thursday (30/6/2022). He explained that currently ongoing construction work was the installation of a Solar Power Plant ( PLTS) at three toll gates This work is a green energy program collaboration with PT Bukit Energi Investama.

Not only PLTS installation, other green environment programs were also carried out on the Bali Mandara Toll Road in order to welcome the G20 Presidency. Some of them, namely planting trees and making gardens at toll gate access, medians, and toll road tapers to planting more than 756,800 mangrove seedlings at Ngurah Rai Interchange and kilometers (km) 3+600. "We have finished planting a total of 756,800 mangrove seedlings on the Bali Mandara Toll Road, precisely at the Ngurah Rai Interchange and at km 3+600.

This number includes the planting of mangrove seedlings that form the words G20 of 158x54 meters with a total of 300,000 seeds," he said.

The weather factor is an obstacle for the company in the process of structuring this toll road so that it can be completed according to the target. "This is a challenge for us to do the work and maintain it much better. Currently, all plants in the toll road area we are watering twice a day and fertilizing every two weeks. Including anticipating the schedule of toll gate tidying work which will also be affected with rain and strong winds," explained Adi.
